Zac Brown Band will soon be making their debut on Saturday Night Live.  They’re the musical guest on March 7th when Christ Hemsworth… THOR… hosts the show!

Rascal Flatts are super-excited about their Vegas residency at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino which opened last night – something a country artist has never done. 

Dustin Lynch is an incredible golfer and says while he still golfs for charity events, it’s just not his favorite sport anymore.

At least someone is enjoying all the snow… Brett Eldredge – who is from Illinois – says he loves it and even went sledding last week in Nashville!

Jason Aldean says when he and his fiancée, Brittany Kerr, exchange their wedding vows, it’ll be a low-key ceremony – especially after all of the drama surrounding their courtship.

Former Steel Magnolia vocalist Meghan Linsey auditioned for The Voice Monday night and was able to turn 3 of the 4 coaches chairs around with her classic rock cover of “Love Hurts.”  It was ironically Blake Shelton who didn’t turn his chair.  Meghan chose Pharrell Williams to be her coach.

Garth Brooks cancelled shows in Ireland inspired a play!  It’s called Are You There Garth? It’s Me, Margaret – a reference to Judy Blume’s 1970 classic young adult novel Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret.  It’s about an Irish country fan who is upset by the events causing Garth to cancel.

Brantley Gilbert has a new tattoo.  It’s two pistols on his back, and the tattoo artist actually made a house call to ink the new art!

CELEBRITY BIRTHDAYS: Thompson Square’s Shawna is 36.  Dr. Ralph Stanley is 88.

The boys in Florida Georgia Line aren’t big on drama. In fact, Brian tells us that they have a surefire way to keep things on an even keel.  They actually treat their partnership like a marriage.
 
The Band Perry performed a concert for high school students in Iowa Monday.  Cascade High School also received a $100thousand dollar prize for getting residents of its town to drive safely.
 
Little Big Town have a few things on their bucket list… they want to do Saturday Night Live… and Sesame Street!  They even have a song re-written Sesame Street-style… “Tornado” has been rewritten as “Tomato.”
 
Trisha Yearwood has been busy with her cooking show, her cookbooks, her sold-out tour with her husband, Garth, and a Christmas Duets album in the works with him… and now she’s getting ready to introduce her own furniture line. 
 
CELEBRITY BIRTHDAYS: Anthony’s favorite resident John Travolta is 61; Juice Newton is 63.

Luke Bryan made a young lady named Kelly’s 21st birthday one she’ll never forget.  She held up a sign at his Louisville concert asking him to drink a beer on stage with him.  After actually carding her, that’s exactly what he did.  Check out the video on our Facebook Fan Page.
Brett Eldredge is a major juicer.  No.  Seriously... he claims if you juice up some apples with that kale, it doesn't taste like weird lettuce.
Looks like Blake Shelton’s co-host on The Voice - Christina Aguilera - is liking this country thing a little.  She’s got a multi-episode storyline on Nashville expected to air this spring.  Okay... she’ll actually be playing a pop superstar on the show.
Eric Church is gonna be a daddy again any day now.  His 2nd child with wife, Katherine, joins big brother, Boone.
Reba’s upcoming album Love Somebody will be in stores on April 14th and it includes some familiar names  - like Rhett Akins  - who, along with his Peach Pickers buddy Ben Hayslip, wrote the 1st single, “Going Out Like That,”  and Sam Hunt, who is a co-writer on the title track.   Plus Jennifer Nettles who is featured on the 2nd track, “Enough.”

February 16th


Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard says he and his fiancee, Hayley, plan to have a destination wedding this summer.  Something small just for family and super close friends.
Toby Keith has announced his new tour – “Good Times & Pick Up Lines.”  It’ll kick off in California at the end of May.  He’ll make a stop at the Tampa Amp on August 1st.
Luke Bryan may be a good ol’ boy... and his first choice is to drive his truck.  But he also drives a black Maserati.  Boys and their toys...
The Voice winner Craig Wayne Boyd may get a little help from a fellow country artist.  He and Randy Houser are good friends.
Joe Nichols said it was a little scary when he returned to the radio after some time off, but he was confident that with the right songs he could reconnect with the fans.

We mentioned this yesterday... Luke Bryan’s 6th #1 hit from his Crash My Party album is “I See You.”  It gets better... Luke has made country chart history as the only artist in modern chart history to have 6 singles off 1 album hit the top spot.  Total career #1s for Luke... 12.
Alan Jackson married his high school sweetheart, Denise, 35 years ago.  Although they’ve had their ups and downs over the years, she still inspires him to write love songs about her.

And speaking of The Voice, former Steel Magnolia singer Meghan Linsey is heading to The Voice... as a contestant!  She’ll be on the season premiere on the 23rd.

Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman is getting ready to publish her first cookbook.  The book, Oh, Gussie! is titled after her Twitter handle.  She combines Southern cooking recipes with stories of her life on the road, and of growing up in North Georgia.  It will be in stores on April 14th.
Luke Bryan’s got another #1 on his hands with “I See You” – the 6th and final single from his Crash My Party CD.
Garth Brooks celebrated his 53rd birthday in Pittsburgh on Saturday with a few thousand of his closest friends plus Steelers coach Mike Tomlin and some of the city’s current players and sports legends. 
Frankie Ballard recently banged up his ribs and shoulder when he fell off a stage in Humble, TX.  But ever the trooper, he finished the show and performed the next night.  There’s just one thing he can’t do... play guitar.

February 10th


Miranda Lambert has no problem with the “bro-country” trend, but she says that party tunes aren’t for her, and she’d just sound weird singing them.
Brad Paisley has revealed the dates for his “Crushin’ It World Tour” which kicks off in NJ on May 15th.  Justin Moore and Mickey Guyton will join him on the road.
Brett Eldredge has fans who think he’s got a little more than singing in his future... they seem to think he should go on The Bachelor as... the bachelor.
Glen Campbell’s wife, Kim, says there’s a bio-pic in the works and she’s already got a few ideas on who she’d like to play her husband.  She’s mentioned both Ryan Reynolds and Justin Timberlake... and seems to be leaning toward Justin.  She says it would be the role of a lifetime for him.  He’ll be at the Tampa Amp on October 2nd, and the Cruzan Amp in West Palm on the 3rd.
