Luke Bryan is letting service men and women the opportunity to catch his show this summer – on his dime. He’ll be giving US troops a very unique concert experience next month teaming up with a sponsor to offer an all-expenses paid trip to Chicago to attend his “That’s My Kind Of Night Tour” at Soldier Field. Luke will give 45 Army and Air Force service men and women the opportunity to see his show.
Brad Paisley’s throwing a pool party at the Cosmopolitan in Vegas on August 27th to celebrate the release of his new album Moonshine in the Trunk.
Blake Shelton and wifey Miranda Lambert don’t see much of each other during touring season, but occasionally pass in the night... literally. Their tour buses will pass each other in the early morning shours as the go in opposite directions on the same interstate.
Kenny Rogers will participate in a special interview at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum on August 16th. That will also be the debut of “Kenny Rogers: Through the Years,” a biographical exhibit running August 15th through June 14th.
Reba’s “Pray for Peace” video features contributions from fans around the world... and several who are very recognizable including Keith Urban. He and his wife Nicole Kidman and their two daughters Faith and Sunday contributed a video of the four of them sitting together on the floor practicing Reba’s “Pray for Peace” motions. The Band Perry also posted a video doing the same. Reba’s even got a hashtag for the song that is trending on Facebook and Twitter... #prayforpeace The song also features vocals from Ronnie Dunn and Kelly Clarkson.
Miranda Lambert says she is not a morning person and her internal alarm clock goes off well after the sun comes up. When it comes to mornings, she says it’s no activities before 11AM and don’t talk to her until she’s had her coffee.
When Jason Aldean and Kenny Chesney go out drinking together... they don’t play around... Jason was with his girlfriend at Buffalo Wild Wings in Nashville and Kenny called and said, “I’m at somewhere. We’ve been drinking margaritas all day.” Jason told him to come hang out with him... and they ended up having to call a car to take them all home.
On a not-so-happy note... Cory Barron, the 22 year old man from Fremont, Ohio who went missing after Jason’s concert in Cleveland on Friday night, was found dead in a landfill. Investigators believe he may have fallen into a garbage chute at the concert venue which led to a dumpster.

Tim McGraw has finally spoken out about the incident where he supposedly slapped a female fan who was groping him. Tim says the whole thing was regrettable, but from his perspective he felt she was touching him inappropriately – as shown in a new, longer video. He says the reaction was instinctive and defensive from his perspective of what was going on.
Luke Bryan is hot among teens. His 2014 Teen Choice Awards nominations keep rolling in. Including the latest nods in the 2nd wave, Luke is now up for 5 awards. The show airs live on August 10 on FOX at 8PM.
Blake Shelton has put out the challenge... Season 7 of The Voice begins next month and he’s already said he’s gonna “mop the floor” with the other 3 coaches’ butts.

Lady Antebellum will release their 5th studio album 747 on September 30th. And Charles Kelley was recently surprised by his wife who enlisted the guys from the DIY show Man Caves to turn their pool house into a man cave/recording studio for Charles.
Miranda Lambert has teamed up with Pedigree Brand to help change then lives of shelter dogs in a big way. The brand has announced plans to improve shelters across the country through a shelter renovation project. Miranda recently got a visit from Pedigree at the Tishomingo Animal Shelter in her hometown where she and her family and friends rolled up their sleeves to help more than 50 Pedigree associates from across the Midwest unto one that’s more welcoming for the dogs and potential adopters.
Carrie Underwood says she’d love to do another duet with Miranda Lambert – just not on her next album. She’s currently preparing to head back into the studio. She says she’s been spending a lot of time writing and this new music will be a “progression” for her.
Toby Keith is one proud papa. His daughter Krystal made her debut performance at the Grand Ole Opry earlier this month.
Brett Eldredge took the plunge Wednesday. He wet shark-diving off the coast of the Bahamas with his #1 and Gold Single plaques for “Beat of the Music.” And the dive was made in association with the Rock the Ocean Foundation whose mission is to increase public awareness about impacting the world oceans and to support scientific research, education, and ocean conservation initiatives.
Little Big Town will be helping out Blake Shelton on the upcoming season of The Voice. Blake’s recruited them as mentors for Season 7. The new season kicks off on September 22nd.
Those free wristbands for Kenny Chesney’s Flora-Bama-Jam were scooped up in just 5 minutes yesterday morning... after a 30 minute delay from the log-jam created by the influx of fans trying to get in on the show. The jam will be on Perdido Key at the Florida-Alabama State Line on August 16th.

Florida Georgia Line made history with “Dirt.” It earned the highest one-week add total in Country Aircheck history with 130 stations in the US playing the song in its first week – breaking Taylor Swift’s record. They’ll be with Tyler Farr and Jason Aldean at the O’Dome on October 16th. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 1st at 10AM.
Kellie Pickler will be using her voice for something other than singing. She’ll voice a character for one of two brand-new “Veggie Tales” movies. She’ll voice Mirabelle in “Beauty and the Beet” on October 14th.

Carrie Underwood will be in movie theatres nationwide starting Friday as a new cinema spot starring Carrie performing “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” – the opening theme for Sunday Night Football on NBC. Garth said, “To say I’m crushed is an understatement.” Garth has chosen Chicago for his very first concert in the US on his World Tour with more shows to be announced. Meanwhile, today is the day that some of Garth’s music becomes available digitally at his website.

He says that until the refunds begin, he still has hope and will go to the last second. The refund process begins on Monday. Jimmy Wayne’s autobiography “Walk to Beautiful” will arrive in stores on October 7th. The book is about his time growing up in foster homes and through his country music career – and was inspired by his walk from Nashville to Phoenix back in 2010 for his Meet Me Halfway campaign to raise awareness for foster kids who have aged out of the system.
Blake Shelton has a lot of things going on in his life – his country music career, time on The Voice, his family... but he’s most proud of his work as a JCPenney Cares Ambassador – which supports the USO. Two of Garth Brooks’ five “comeback shows” have been cancelled in Ireland after a local council denied the permits. Garth was scheduled to perform the shows beginning on the 25th at Croke Park in Dublin to kick off his worldwide comeback tour – apparently residents complained about the shows saying they’d cause noise, traffic problems, illegal parking and “potential anti-social behavior.”

Zac Brown Band will celebrate America's birthday by performing at the Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular with Miranda Lambert, Hunter Hayes, Ariana Grande and Lionel Richie. The show airs tomorrow at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
It may only be July, but Carrie Underwood already has big plans for football season. Her "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night" will once again open NBC's Sunday Night Football and she's been tapped to open Super Bowl 49 in 2015.
The upcoming Broadway show Hee Haw is promising to be a bit racier than the wholesome TV show co-hosted by Roy Clark and Buck Owens from 1969 to 1992. Brandy Clark, who is writing the music with Shane McAnally, tells Rolling Stone Country, "It's one big love story that takes two and a half hours, so you're telling little bits of the story but can't let too much unravel at once. And with Broadway, you can push the boundaries, so there's some pretty risqué content." The show is tentatively slated to open next spring.

Tim has been in the business of making music for almost 25 years now and he's still as passionate about it as ever. Tim's concert comes to Tampa on July 12th.

In a recent interview, Carrie said that during the ACMs, they actually hung out quite a bit because they were there for a few days and their husbands got to talk and Carrie thinks that there’s a bit of a bromance going on. She said that Blake’s got a lot of bromance going on and she didn’t want to talk to Mike about it because she doesn’t want to make him jealous. Lady A’s Hillary Scott says her daughter Eisele – who turns 1 next month – is a little chatterbox and her favorite word to say is bubbles. Meanwhile, Dave Haywood’s wife is expecting and he says he’s still just trying to figure out how to hold a baby.

Luke Bryan entertained more than 50thousand fans Saturday night at his first Heinz Field show in Pittsburgh. Before the event, Luke told tailgaters to party responsibly after fans at last years Kenny Chesney concert left behind at least 45thousand pounds of trash along the street and parking lots near the stadium. There’s family drama over Glen Campbell’s Alzheimer's care.... his daughter told Country Weekly magazine that she objects to her father being moved to a long-term care facility. Meanwhile, his wife, Kim, says he requires full-time professional care, but he’s never without his family’s love and support.
It’s not the first time Brad Paisley’s done something like this... he treated his tour mates and bands to a private showing of Godzilla at an IMAX in Indiana. PBS’s concert show “Front and Center” is going to get a little more country this Fall. PBS is teaming up with the CMA to bring Lady Antebellum and Dierks Bentley on the show with 2 separate specials leading up to the 48th CMA Awards in November.

Kip Moore will kick off his first headlining tour this fall. The tour kicks off on Sept. 25th in NYC and hits 20 cities before wrapping up in late November. Kip says he will play his entire currenty album – Up All Night – during every show... something few artists do. No word on when Kip’s next album, Dirt Road, will be released.
Reba’s a grandma! Kelly Clarkson gave birth to River Rose Blackstock on Thursday. Kelly is married to Reba’s stepson, Brandon.
Brad Paisley wrote a new song to honor his father, Doug – who was a fireman – for the new Disney movie Planes: Fire & Rescue. The song is called “All In,” which highlights firefighter bravery and sacrifice. The film is due out July 18th.
Miranda Lambert surprised a small crowd in a club when she and her band stopped in to play on Saturday night at a club called The Block in Fort Walton Beach. They did the surprise performance on their way to Jacksonville for Florida Country Superfest where Miranda performed last night.
The American Country Awards on FOX is history. The December awards show will be replaced by the American Country Countdown Awards and will broadcast from Nashville on December 15th.
