Darius Rucker is home with his kids and says there’s a good change they’ll probably go out trick or treating as Ninja Turtles. But he says the greatest costumes they ever had was when his son was Darth Vadar and he was Luke Skywalker and as they went from house to house his son would go into Darth mode and say, “I’m his faaathah!”
Brantley Gilbert has never been much of a Halloween kind of guy, but last year was pretty memorable. He got a picture of his godson dressed up as him for Halloween!
Tyler Farr says that he really enjoyed Halloween as a kid and he was obsessed with Emmitt Smith growing up. So he got a Dallas Cowboys football helmet, jersey and some shoulder pads and cleats and went trick or treating as his hero one year.
Thomas Rhett knows what his favorite part of Halloween is... the candy!
With Halloween just a day away, the members of Little Big Town are getting ready to dress up their kids – and themselves – for the big candy day. Phillip’s family is going all vampire. His daughter, Penelopi, came up with the idea. Meanwhile, Karen and Jimi’s son, Elijah, wants Daddy to dress up as Peter Pan because he’s going to be Captain Hook. Jimi says... um... no.
Parmalee will be at our next K COUNTRY Acoustic Concert along with Frankie Ballard and Brothers Osborne. The guys will be releasing their album Feels Like Home on December 10th. Brohers Matt and Scott Thomas grew up watching their dad, Jerry, front a popular local southern rock blues band. Then their cousin, Barry Knox, who played drums for church choir, joined them. And they called in longtime friend, Josh McSwain.
The ACM Lifting Lives club tour will kick off with 2 dates headlined by Tyler Farr in January. More clubs and artists will be announced in the coming months with dates through Spring 2015. The first two shows are in Milwaukee and Chicago.
Hunter Hayes is kicking off the week leading up to the 48th Annual CMA Awards next week with a free nighttime concert in downtown Nashville on Monday as part of his involvement with the USO’s Every Moment Counts campaign.

George Strait is going to perform at the CMA Awards Show!!! Presenters include Garth Brooks and Connie Britton from the ABC hit series “Nashville” are both presenters. The show airs on Wednesday, November 5th.
Brantley Gilbert has a lot of artists and public figures who have influenced him, but he says his biggest influence is his pawpaw. Brantley’s granddad passed away a few years ago from lymphoma, but he says he thinks about him every day, and all the lessons that he’s learned.
Miranda Lambert has raised over $600thousand dollars for the 7th Annual Cause for the Paws event to benefit her MuttNation Foundation. Miranda is a dog-mom to 7 rescue dogs of her own.
Jason Aldean and Kenny Chesney are teaming up for the summer of 2015 when their tours “collide” for two tours... one big night! They’ll do 10 stadium shows together between May 2nd and August 28th. Special guests will be announced over the next few weeks.

Lady Antebellum is celebrating their latest #1 – “Bartender” – this week in Nashville. All of their usual music industry guests have been asked to bring their kids for the party and to dress up for Halloween.
Kenny Chesney has announced that he’s returning to the road with The Big Revival Tour for 2015. So far, only Nashville has been announced. It’s where the tour will kick off on March 26th. That day is also Kenny’s 47th birthday.
Luke Bryan says that it’s flattering that fans have created Twitter, Facebook, and Fan Pages dedicated to his butt. Enjoy it while you can, ladies... Luke says that his rump-shakin’ won’t go on forever... he’ll be toning it down over the next 10 years.

Chris Young is hitting the road next year. He’ll bring his 2015 A.M. World Tour to Germany, Australia, and the UK. He’ll even visit Hawaii for the first time. More dates will be announced in the next few weeks.

Brantley Gilbert... is ENGAGED! He says he’s getting married to a girl he met 10 years ago. Most of his songs are about her. “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do” is just one song about her. The wedding is planned for next June and she’s a school teacher in Georgia. That’s about all he’s giving away – they dated briefly and then he says she became the one that got away... until now.
CMT has unveiled the 2014 CMT Artists of the Year. They’ll be honoring Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban as the top country artists of 2014 love from Nashville on Tuesday, December 2nd at 8PM.

Alan Jackson has announced his 25th Anniversary Tour – Keepin’ It Country – which will kick off in Fort Myers on January 8th at the Germain Arena followed by the 9th at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa. He’ll wrap it up in Denver on May 17th. Jon Pardi will be opening for him and AJ says that he likes that Jon is closer to country than most of the other new guys he’s heard.
Newcomer Sam Hunt has a Top 3 song with “Leave the Night On” this week. His debut album hits stores next Tuesday.
Little Big Town – fresh off of their induction into the Grand Ole Opry on Friday – have their new album available today called Pain Killer.
Poor Dustin Lynch got whacked in the face and hurt pretty badly by a beer can thrown from the crowd at the MulletFest in Niceville just as he was finishing up “Friends in Low Places.” He says it was completely full and felt like a baseball had hit him. Dustin STILL finished the show despite bleeding pretty good... he later went to the ER and ended up getting a couple of stitches to close the wound.
Florida Georgia Line co-wrote Jason Aldean’s 12th #1 song, “Burning’ It Down.” They guys said it was originally going to be recorded by FGL, but they thought that Jason would do a much better job on it.
Dierks Bentley is branching out with his Whiskey Row bar. He’s opening one in Tempe, Arizona next year. It offers table taps and more than 40 whiskeys behind the bar.
Eric Church blew the roof off the Garden on Friday... he made his 2nd appearance at Madison Square Garden and even had Dwight Yoakam open for him.

The album cover features Trisha in a ball-gown and tiara, sporting a pair of boxing gloves given to her by none other than Rocky himself. They were a gift from Sylvester Stallone and he wore them during the filming of Rocky V.
Toby Keith is back with a brand new single called “Drunk Americans.” The song celebrates those special moments when glasses go up – or in Toby’s case, the Red Solo Cup - and the barriers that separate us all come down.

Blake Shelton says that his latest single “Neon Light” was inspired by a real bar in his hometown of Ada, Oklahoma. He says back in the day he used to sneak into The Village Inn and that’s definitely the place he’s singing about in his mind
Thomas Rhett is pretty excited – he’s headlining this Saturday night’s infield concert at the race in Talladega. He’s a big NASCAR fan and says a lot of his family will be there.
American Music Awards nominees are in… Luke Bryan is nominated in the all-genre Artist of the Year category. He’s also in the Favorite Male Artist – Country category along with Jason Aldean and Blake Shelton. The show airs live from Los Angeles on November 23rd on ABC-TV.
Speaking of Luke… he’ll be back in Florida early next year. He’s extended his That’s My Kind of Night Tour and will be at the Amway Center in Orlando along with Randy Houser and Dustin Lynch on February 21st.
Jason Aldean is a big supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness and Research. He performed his 9th Annual Concert for the Cure in Detroit over the weekend and raised over $660thousand dollars to benefit Susan G. Komen and Breast Cancer Research. Scotty McCreery was surprised on stage in Seattle by retired Seahawks players Joe Tafoya and Norm Johnson to celebrate Scotty’s 21st birthday. Scotty will spend his birthday weekend with family and friends in North Carolina before returning to the road next week.
