July 2nd

Thomas Rhett has major plans for the Fourth of July weekend. He and wife Lauren are on the guest list for the Tyler Hubbard (Florida Georgia Line) and Hayley Stommel wedding in Sun Valley, Idaho. Then Thomas will take his bride to Hawaii for a sunny vacation in the Aloha state.

Being a certified pilot with a private plane, Dierks Bentley can take his beautiful wife Cassidy anywhere in the world. But there was one island destination they had to check out for their first vacation away from Evie, Jordan and Knox. Dierks Bentley says he’ll never forget those four days in Jamaica with Cassidy. Dierks opens his “Sounds of Summer” tour in Tampa tonight with special guests Kip Moore, Maddie & Tae, and Canaan Smith.

And speaking of Dierks, he, Kelly Clarkson and Brad Paisley are among the acts scheduled to perform on the Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular, airing Saturday at 8 pm on NBC.

July 1st

Luke Bryan has announced the dates for his Farm Tour 2015. Luke awards a scholarship to a student from a farming family in each city he plays on the tour. Luke says he now has the time to concentrate on making this tour the best it can be.  Farm Tour stops this year are Fort Wayne, Lexington, Knoxville, Columbia, Starkville, Tuscaloosa, Macon, Valdosta. Tickets go on sale July 10th.

Easton Corbin released his third album, About to Get Real, yesterday. Easton says he's not swayed by today's trends in country music. We like Easton just the way he is being that Trento-boy that he is.

Chances are Tyler Hubbard will be a married man when Florida Georgia Line resumes the Anything Goes tour on July 9th in Ohio. FGL are in the middle of a two-week break, and it’s prime time for Tyler and fiancée Hayley Stommel to tie the knot in Hayley’s hometown of Sun Valley, Idaho.

June 30th

Keith Urban has an affinity for John Mellencamp. Aside from having his earlier stage name in his new song, "John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16" – John Mellencamp's music helped him make the decision to move America.  Keith hasn't told John Mellencamp about the song yet, because John no longer uses "Cougar," a name he got saddled with by a former manager.

Could it be that Carrie Underwood's husband, hockey player Mike Fisher, is a little tired playing second fiddle to his superstar wife? Not likely, but Carrie thought it was hilarious when her husband, who happens to be a star on the ice, was interviewed by the local TV station with the caption, "married to someone famous."

The video for Steven Tyler's first country single, "Love Is Your Name," will premiere Friday on Good Morning America. The song, which was co-written by Eric Paslay, will be on Steven's upcoming country album. The release date for that has not been announced.

June 29th

Reba McEntire has quietly sold her Beverly Hills home for $22.5 million. Reba and her husband Narvel Blackstock bought the six-bedroom, seven-bath home in 2003 for $9 million. Reba is spending a lot of time in Las Vegas performing with Brooks and Dunn for their joint residency at Caesars Palace.

Glen Campbell is slipping into the late stages of Alzheimer’s. His daughter, Ashley, says that though Glen is physically quite healthy, his mental status has declined seriously. Ashley says he's calm most of the time and he can't really communicate very well and doesn't really understand anything that anyone tells him anymore.

Dierks Bentley got all his fashion advice from his dear old dad, Leon Bentley… Dierks shares the best Leon Bentley advice and regrets his wardrobe on a magazine cover with George Strait. Looking sharp was part of his dad's job. Leon Bentley was the vice-president of a bank.

June 26th

Darius Rucker honored those killed in the church shooting in his hometown of Charleston during his concert the other night by singing “Amazing Grace.”  Check out the video on our Facebook Fan Page.
Carrie Underwood is the mom choosy moms choose most!  In a survey of 800 young moms asking who they’d trust to babysit their kids, Carrie topped the list.
How’s this to make you feel old… Tim and Faith’s oldest daughter Gracie… is headed off to college this Fall!  She’s 18 and just graduated from high school a couple of weeks ago, and she plans to major in music!  Meanwhile, Maggie starts her senior year of high school this Fall, and Maggie is in middle school.
Brantley Gilbert and Lynyrd Skynyrd team up for Crossroads this weekend on CMT.  Brantley’s favorite Skynyrd song is “Gimme Three Steps,” so he was pretty excited to perform with them!.
CELEBRITY BIRTHDAYS: Gretchen Wilson is 42 today.  Lorrie Morgan turns 56 tomorrow.  Kellie Pickler will be 29 on Sunday.

June 24th

Kenny Chesney and Jason Aldean set some records over the weekend… between 250 and 300 people were ejected from Lambeau Field in Green Bay during their tour stop for several reasons… including intoxication, harassment, and fighting.  25 were arrested.
Carrie Underwood is returning to Sunday Night Football.  NBC made the announcement yesterday on its Twitter account.
Lady Antebellum made a dream come true for a little boy with kidney cancer.  5-year-old Adam Szudarek likes to sing “Bartender” while getting his treatment… and got to meet the band after their show this past weekend in Cleveland.
Brooks & Dunn reunited to perform together for the first time since 2010 last Friday at the Coliseum at Caesar’s in Vegas.  They’ve also divulged the real reason for calling it quits… there was no rift.  They broke up because they’d been doing it for over 20 years and felt like they’d accomplished everything they could.  Or as Kix said, “We ran out of gas.”


June 23rd

Patsy Cline will be the first country artist to appear in concert… as a hologram!  It will be a pay-per-view internet event that will have commentary, interactive elements, and A-list stars.  It’s set to debut next year.
Reba could be a grandmother again by the early next year… her daughter-in-law, Kelly Clarkson, says she and Brandon are working on a sibling for River Rose who just turned 1.
John Rich is planning a new venture… he wants to open a Redneck Riviera-themed restaurant and bar in downtown Nashville!
Canaan Smith’s debut album Bronco is available today.  Kacey Musgraves releases Pageant Material.
Carrie Underwood’s dogs, Ace and Penny, aren’t too sure about this new baby in the house, but Carrie says it’ll all work out…  especially when the baby is old enough to drop food on the floor.  Then they'll be BFFs!

June 22nd

Carrie Underwood says she wanted a traditional name for her son, but not one that she hears all over the place.  So, it came down to Isaiah and Caleb – and she and her husband, Mike, chose Isaiah in the delivery room when they had to choose a name to put on his birth certificate.
Brad Paisley had to postpone his headlining set at Chicago’s Windy City Lake Shake Festival Saturday night because of bad weather.  Instead, he took the stage Sunday night after Florida Georgia Line.
Dierks Bentley got stranded over the weekend when his Jeep ran out of gas on the highway.  He says he didn’t stop for gas because… he didn’t know he needed it.  The old jeep’s fuel gauge doesn’t work.
Jake Owen says there’s just one escape for him from day-to-day life, and that’s being out on the water.
