Gainesville All American Song Fest

 

Saturday July 4th

Celebrate America’s birthday at the Bo Diddley Community Plaza with a reprise of last year’s All American Song Fest. Starting at 8pm, The concert will take the audience on a musical tour of American history and culture by featuring songs written about America.   The Bo Diddley Community Plaza is located on the corner of Southeast 1st Street and East University Avenue.

You'll have a blast at one of the East Coast's largest fireworks shows as the showy displays burst above the ancient Castillo de San Marcos Fort and reflect in the waters Matanzas Bay. Come early to the 930 fireworks for the best vantage points located along the bay front between the Castillo and the Bridges of Lions.

8 block long block party with a summer barbecue theme.  The event is scheduled from 6p until midnight with fireworks at 930p.

 

Kissimmee 4th of July Celebration

 

Enjoy a spectacular, patriotic celebration and fireworks at the Kissimmee Lakefront Memorial Park and South Park with plenty of live entertainment, food, kids' activities and more! Festivities begin at 3p and end with fireworks at 9p.  Admission is free!

 

Independence Day Celebration at Circle Square Commons Town Center

 

Saturday July 4th – On Top of the World

Celebrate Independence Day at the Circle Square Commons Town Center on Saturday, July 4 from 5 pm – 10 pm with a salute to the Armed Forces, a tribute to the Andrew Sisters performed by The Swing Sisters, and a Missing Man presentation performed by four World War II North American T-6 model aircrafts. 

 

4th of July Patriotic Celebration in Silver Springs Shores

 

Silver Springs Shores holds its annual 4th of July Patriotic Celebration on Saturday, July 4th, 2009.  The celebration begins at 9:00AM with a traditional bike and stroller parade at the Silver Springs Shores Park on Silver Road.  Events run until 3pm at the Silver Springs Shores Community Center on 590 Silver Road.  Bring the family and enjoy games, food, and fun for both children and seniors.

31st Annual Melon Run

31st Annual Melon Run 3-mile Run/Walk and Kid's Fun Run Sponsored by Shands Sports Performance Center, Clif Bar, and Road ID. 3-mile at 8 AM, Fun Run at 9 AM at Westside Park - Gainesville, FL on the corner of NW 34th St and NW 8th Ave.  Each finisher of the Fun Run will receive a medal and popsicle and we will have trophies for the first place boy and girl. City of Williston Independence Day Celebration

 

Friday July 3rd, 2009

Celebration kicks off with a parade at 5pm featuring our own Lewis Stokes in the K COUNTRY van and continues with entertainment from local headliner Thicker Than Water, rides, and vendor booths at the Williston Horseman's Park with Gates Opening at 6pm.  It ends with fireworks at dark.  Admission is FREE. City of Alachua July 4th Celebration – The Largest Small Town Fireworks Display in America

 

All day Saturday July 4th with Bryce Carlisle and The Rattlesnake Daddies headlining the concert before the fireworks. The annual event draws over 15,000 people. There are dozens of activities for the kids including a petting zoo, bounce houses and water slides. This year kids can also take advantage of the spray park and skateboard park located on site.
