Annual EEO Public File Report for Ocala Broadcasting Corp., LLC.
a.) During the period of October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007 Ocala Broadcasting Corporation, LLC. (i.e. WOGK, WNDD, WNDT, WNDN and WLQH-AM) had one full time opening to be filled (sales and marketing consultant) and another full time position was created (promotion director).
b.) Therefore, Ocala Broadcasting Corp., LLC. used the following sources to recruit candidates for the open sales and marketing consultant position. An ad was placed on the stations' web sites and a notice was sent to the other two radio property locations in our company. In addition, ads were placed in the following:

The full time promotion director position was created to especially use the talents of our intern using the EEO Guidelines. Jessica Maier started in August 2006 in our internship program while a student at St. Leo University. Three candidates interviewed for this internship. Two from St. Leo University and one from Central Florida Community College. No additional recruitment sources were used to fill this position.
c.) The sales and marketing consultant opening was created due to an employee quitting their position without notice. The promotion director position was created to expand the staff using the talents of our intern.
d.) Forty-two (42) people expressed
interest in the sales and marketing consultant position. Nine (9)
qualified candidates were contacted and interviewed in person and/or on the
phone. The sources for the interviewed were as follows:
Four (4) from Inside Radio.
Three (3) from Radio Sales Today.
One (1) from Media Recruiters.
One (1) from our participation in the University of Florida Job fair.
Kerry Maire was hired for the position in June 2007. She applied for the position using Radio Sales Today (RAB).

EEO Narrative
Ocala Broadcasting Corp., LLC. has been working to achieve a broad and inclusive outreach program during the period prior to filing for license renewal applications for WOGK-FM, WNDD-FM, WNDT-FM, WNDN-FM, and WLQH-AM. This report covers the period of October 2, 2006 thought September 30, 2007.
During this time, Ocala Broadcasting Corp., LLC. has done the following:
On March 29, 2007 General Manager Jim Robertson and Sales Manager Bob Kassi attended the University of Florida's College of Journalism & Communications Job and Internship Fair. A total of over 200 attended the job fair. Specific appointments for organizations in attendance were required by the university. Three (3) candidates set appointments with us. Two were interested in future internships and one was later interviewed for our sales and marketing consultant opening.
On August 30, 2007 General Manager Jim Robertson and Sales Manager Bob Kassi attended the Santa Fe Community College Job Fair. A total of 600 attended the job fair. Nineteen (19) candidates stopped by our booth. Sic (6) submitted resumes and two (2) wanted company applications. At the time of the job fair, we did not have any current openings.
In November 2006, announcer Richard Brooks spoke to the student body of 850 students at Ward highlands School about a career in radio during Career Day.
October 2006 through December 2006, Jessica Maier, a student at St. Leo University, interned for both WOGK and WNDD/WNDT/WNDN. Ms. Maier interned for two days a week in all departments including sales, programming, promotions, and traffic and accounting. Ms. Maier was later hired part time and then into a new full time promotions director position.
As part of our ongoing training efforts for our staff, we invited representatives of the Media Audit and the Arbitron company to give advanced training on the use of their programs. This allows the sales and marketing consultants to advance their computer skills and presentation skills.
Twenty (20) Boy Scouts were given a tour of our facilities and met with each department in order to see the entire operation of a radio station and the educational and training requirements for each position.
A mailing was done in June 2007 to our EEO mailing list for candidates for any future openings. No one responded to this mailing.
